This is a fabulous product, it is the third one I ordered. The only minus is that i find no support for linux (ubuntu). When I use the S660 with windows 7 and dvbviewer pro 5.0 (paid) it is completely satisfactory; eagerly waiting for a model that will/would have DVB-T integrated. I strongly suggest to try this out ! This is a very good quality product. Perfect for linux, because it\'s natively supported by kernel 3.x.

good receiver, used on ubuntu , with kernel 2.6.32.37 need v4l compilation, but with kernel 3.0.0.15 it\'s ok. despite to the plastic box, it isnt hot. if you download the firmware from tevii site , you must rename it. (see dmesg for the right name)

Evaluation:

When the tuner works it is the best I have tried. Previously I had an internal TBS6981 card and then Terratec Cinergy S2 USB tuners. Among these the TeVii S660 consumes less CPU and I can finally record two HD channels simultaneously (using two S660 tuners). However, together with DVBLink the tuners sometimes loose connection, and I must swap channels a few times to get it back. If this happens for a nightly recording it is a pain.
