Digital Cable TV Card: Mystique CaBiX-C2
Receive digital cable TV, record the programming, edit it to your likings, and record the end-result to CD or DVD. Plus, the TV-Station DVB-C has an expansion port that supports our CineView module, which allows you to enjoy Pay-TV* directly on your Computer.
This card is ready for the future. It has already been equipped to support Internet access using DVB-C as soon as a provider offers this service.
Never miss a highlight on your favourite show again, even when you are sitting at your computer. While surfing the Internet, you can watch the current TV programming in a small window in the corner of your monitor, or you can sit back and relax and watch more suspenseful scenes using the full screen mode.
Recording your favourite radio and TV programming is equally comfortable. Start recording manually or use the recording timer to schedule a recording ahead of time. TV programming can be recorded by simply clicking on a programming item in the Teletext display (radio programming can only be recorded manually). Edit the recorded material and burn it to CD or DVD using video editing software to enjoy it for many years to come.
If you live in a rural region or an area that does not offer DSL, or if you live in a city but do not wish to buy any additional hardware, you can use this product for high-speed Internet access**. This card is so universal that it supports high-speed Internet access if a provider offers the service in your area.

Works for Mandirva Linux 2011! I have had to build the patched modules for this card because it seems to be that my card has a newer PCI vendor ID. Thus, by default it did not work, but after compiling theses modules for my original kernel it works perfect!

Great product. I now own 3 cards of this type and have them in the same server. However the last 2 cards I bought were of a different kind than the first card, which did take a while to sort out in my linux mythtv installation. But a great card that does exactly what is promised.
